TCL expands further with state-of-the-art production equipment
TCL Packaging, a leading UK manufacturer of flexible packaging for the food industry has continued the expansion of its Telford production facility with a new high-specification slitting and re-wind unit to be used for production of its high-quality films.
The state of the art equipment provides increased efficiencies over conventional slitting equipment including rapid set-up, infra-red core alignment and sheer rotary blades. It is designed for slitting a wide range of films and foils at high speeds, including thin-gauge materials.
The new equipment is part of an ambitious growth strategy for this dynamic Telford-based company with further plans in the pipeline for additional high-tech micro and needle perforation units for its high-performance extended shelf-life films.

“It’s all about efficiency” says managing director Tim Crow “to be successful in a competitive market place means continually improving efficiencies for our customers so they get the best possible performance without added cost - that and our excellent customer service is what sets TCL Packaging apart and enables us to thrive”.
